Non-Resorbable PTFE membrane

OpenTex® is designed to function as a physical barrier to avoid gingival cell invasion, thus providing a favourable environment for neovascularisation and
bone-derived cells to repopulate and repair the defect.

Since space-making is critical to this procedure, the membrane is sufficiently stiff to prevent spontaneous collapse but supple enough to conform easily to
tissue contours.

OpenTex® Main Features

Non-Resorbable
• 100% medical grade PTFE membrane.
• Biologically inert and chemically non-reactive.
• The healing process is not affected by membrane absorption.

Microporous
• Promote the gingival tissue attachment.
• Enhances ease in the interstitial fluid circulation.

Minimally Invasive
• Rapid recovery of soft tissue.
• Primary Closure is not necessary.
• Minimum flap reflection or dissection.

Withstands Exposure
• Protect the bone regeneration site.
• Regenerated underlying tissue can be evaluated.
• Provide a proper environment for the growth of blood vessel and osteogenic cells.

Indications

Simultaneous use of GBR membrane and implants.
Augmentation around the implant placed in immediate extraction sites or delayed extraction sockets.
Filling of bone defects after root resection, removal of cysts, and removal of retained teeth.
